'peeps' to me are these crazy marshmellow things that are somewhat in the shape of baby chickens and are covered in dyed (typically) yellow sugar. Ah, thank you! The vague image I had in mind was approximately correct, but I have never seen anything like that picture. They sound either delicious or sickening. Perhaps one, then the other.
it has been several years since I have had one but i always liked them.. however i do believe if you eat too many, they end up with this really weird aftertaste..lol
I find them sickening. Either the sgar coating or the dye (I'm not sure which it is) has a horrid perfumy taste that just ruins the experience of biting into vivid yellow marshmallow.
Eurgh. I must go and wash the memory of the taste out.
