First post is test post, until I get the hang of all these knobs and dials in here.

So we see

aesmael has learned what the 'livejournal user' button does.

And if I understand rightly I have just introduced what I most often see referred to as 'the fold', as in 'more below the fold', so this text will not be visible to anyone who does not choose to read the rest of the entry. This text is bolded. This text is italicised and this is underlined. ~~The text here has been struck through to demonstrate that you did not in fact read it~~. ~~If I combine all four will the world end~~? Apparently not.
