Now for at least the next four years, whenever white people are disappointed in the US President, we can look forward to them saying "... and this is especially bad because he is black and should know better."
Well, in the media they tend to focus on the leaders rather than policy changes and and decisions make by them an their parties. Al through the Howard years it was "Howard's fault" for anything that went wrong or unpopular. Never mind the fact that it was really the government, not their spokesperson who was to blame (for some things).
It may be the same with Obama. As much as I'm interested in the political head of another country (and mostly I'm not) what matters is not what they say, or even who they are, but what they do.
I spect though that we'll hear all about it every day. :(
