It's all so weird for me - I'm born and raised in New York, but I've been on the road with my band, out of state, for the last week, with limited internet connectivity.. so basically all I really know for sure is Elliot Spitzer, prostitution ring, and that I suddenly have a new governor of my state

so confusing!

but yeah. probably not as big a news story as everyone's making it out to be. it's important to me as a new yorker, but not to someone in say, Oklahoma or Australia. but of course whenever sex is involved, especially those evil sex workers, the media freaks the fuck out and has an inevitably-offensive orgasm
