Okay, perhaps I've been gone too long but...what IS seeing the lights? You seem to be posting notifications of posting on it, which is leaving me curious. Sorry, I haven't really been checking on here much (spent the holidays with a phone modem that is really really slow).

It is a story. With its particular workload and mode of presentation I sometimes think of it as my version of a webcomic.

This is what I have previously been referring to as my "Sekrit Projekt". There has been no actual announcement or formal description of what it is, unless mentioning it in my writing posts counts. It is tagged 'fiction' though.

Sorry, that might have been a bit harsh but yes, it is a story and no, you have not missed any kind of explanation. I was not originally intending to claim credit for it but people have been asking questions and my resolution crumbled.

Like your character's ambiguous flight into the ethereal realm of feeling - it seems that the plot is also doing this. I had originally envisioned this as an entirely modern story and, now, well the somewhat pastoral diction in places seems to suggest something else. It is as if there is another character buried beneath the one you have created - simply waiting to be released.

Could you clarify what you mean by 'modern' and 'pastoral'?
