I find evolutionary algorithms fascinating and hope someday to play around with and write some myself.

I... don't think that is quite possible *dodges*

... the worst bit is that they are still bringing out new books that include all the OLD and terribly bad arguments - a friend lent me s recent 'very popular' one and I couldn't get half way through, I was trying not to damage the book.
