aesmael: (transformation)
Mrowl. Feeling much better today. It is as if I got part of my soul back (the word soul here being used to mean a person's vibrancy and identity), although now I must unfortunately sacrifice it to study.
I do feel like I know who I am again, and that I am who I am. Now I have the energy, it feels, to accomplish ohsomany projects and the hardest part is deciding which ones to tackle first although I will probably end up flitting between them like a hummingbird anyway. But no games! I am not free yet and I must work hard to keep this, harder still to break free entirely.
My intention to post each day's writing in turn fell apart when I realised I cannot post my daily progress transcribing Spare Parts because it contains spoilers for Krakkaire, and I had not the energy last night to write anything else or finish the sequence I started yesterday morning.
I did manage to transcribe 958 words of Spare Parts, though, which is even more dreadfully written than Krakkaire. I did know that at the time (hence all the circled, crossed out and rewritten passages) but I still believe I can render both of them passable enough to post here someday. And then perhaps selected people can see the original atrocities if they wish.
Captain Kollanna Aries is perhaps my favourite name of all the character names I have created, by the way. I am very fond of her, although that does not prevent the awfulness from happening, oh no. There are also some truly dreadful names in there.
I am disappointed in myself because I only wrote 280 words for Elegant Girl and only accomplished half of what I intended. Perhaps I shall finish that sequence later this week; my original conception was vague even in context and needs refinement before it will have the proper fluffy laser focus a Jayde story demands.
It may be lost for now, being a realisation of a mindset I cannot maintain while happy.

Really I should probably give up on even paying lip service to that nanowrimo thing, except I suspect it is giving me added impetus to keep going, at least until I actually burn out again. Right now I need to write at least 63 words/day for the rest of the month to reach my monthly goal. To reach the excessive target of 50,000 I would need an average of 1976 words/day. That is getting rather close to twice what I have ever managed on a single day. I should probably focus more on schoolwork.
