Immediate wince or goran: Pretty good Run away screaming: Better Dead silence for a few seconds, gasp and hold face in hands, or run away screaming: Best
Another writer I have heard of but who seems not to be sold in this country. I was directed to read one of his stories (http://www.spiderrobinson.com/melancholyelephants.html) not long ago though. Will keep an eye out.
