Played through the demo twice, hehe, first time normal, second time with the ai set to stupid. I just expanded and designed space ships. Was about to go conquer the 2 planets the other race managed to get and it ran out, oh well.
I haven't tried the Dark Avatar expansion, but I did enjoy playing Gal Civ 2. It's the closest to the original MOO and MOO2 I've found. (Not that I have done an extensive search.)
