Do you believe in creation or evolution?

Evolution, of course. Depending how you mean 'believe in'.

I suppose that one "believes in" a scientific theory in a way similar to "belief in" religious dogma. The main difference between the two is that scientific theory lends itself to testing. Usually. And then, there are the Theories of Everything. Damned physicists...

It's funny how different people react differently to polarizing questions. Issues like abortion, immigration, etc... Some people get all bent out of shape the second you bring up an issue. I'm glad to see that you're not one of those people.

Myself, I believe in both. I believe in one of several possibilties.

One the universe was created as is.

Two the universe was created and then evolved.

Three the universe was created and then evolved and then at some point in earth's history humans were "put" on earth. Keeping humans seperate from teh evolutionary chain.

All three seem reasonable to me, but I tend to lean towards the latter. I just don't see the whole thing as being one of those "either or" issues.
