So, here's me. Bit under the weather, not sleeping right. Not sleeping tonight last night either, even though I asked myself sort-of nicely. 'Bout six I give up and go back to reading Thomas Hardy's The Woodlanders, until right in the middle of a bad omen/bird I discover about thirty pages missing from the middle of the book. That's ten percent of the story.
I'm not the sort of person who can just skip pages like that. Uh uh, no way. Those pages were written for a reason. Rather not throw the whole thing in, either. The rest of the book's fine. Unread, even. So I let myself have a sigh and up I get. Wikisource'll likely have a copy, or Project Gutenberg. I can read those six and a half chapters there and get back to my** book.
*Looks more like those pages never existed, actually
**Really my mother's
