Someday, in a distant future in which there is a surplus of free time, there are many games I would dearly love to play thoroughly.

Maybe start with this one. The graphics are so crude it can't possibly be very complicated or addictive, right?

Other games, mentioned on the off chance anyone on my Flist happens to be an enthusiast, include Dungeons & Dragons, Star Fleet Battles and various computer RPGs and strategy games (Note: just because I enjoy a particular style of game does not mean I am any good at it).

I have died in so many dumb ways in nethack... XD hah.

I played a bit of D&D for a while... I got bored of it though cuz I played with people who focused more on leveling characters and combat and stuff, when really I'm more interested in the roleplaying and storytelling part. I like turn based strategy though =D Such as Civilization, Master of Orion, Risk, Axis & Allies, Chess... I also like real time strategy, as long as the game is called StarCraft (which I am terrible at)

Yay Civilisation! I have a copy of FreeCiv lying around somewhere to install... Not sure if I ever played Risk or Axis & Allies. Those are board games, right?

Leveling up sounds fun but you can only do it so many times. Intrigue can last for years an' years. :-P
