This is like the story of one's life, in music, on shuffle. It amuses, no? The commentary is optional, by which I mean compulsory. If you like.

I had to guess the rest, you do too.

Opening: Lothlorien - Howard Shore & Philippa Boyens
More like an ending than a beginning, unless my birth was an occasion for sadness? But under that there is a beautiful opening up and a sense of touring a dark, mature garden. But so sad. And I love it, since the first moment I heard it.
Waking Up: Les Uruk Hai - Howard Shore
I do not know why it insists upon this soundtrack. There are other musics to choose from. I suppose the trumpets are somewhat wakeful though. Also, for some delightful reason this computer thinks The Two Towers is French.
Le Seigneur Des Anneaux: Les Deux Tours.
First Day of School: Deck The Halls With Boughs of Holly - performed by The Peppermint Candy Kids
*glares* Yes, So? School should be fun and festive!
Falling in Love: Haushinka - Green Day
Oookay?
Fight Song: Shadowfax - from the BBC Radio Adaptation of The Lord of the Rings
Run away? Fair enough.
Breaking Up:Tristania - Nightwish
O Fortuna redone with guitar and metal? Supoib mournful storm of drama! And it was a gift from my ex too.

Prom: Summer - Vivaldi
'Tis supposed to be a time of joy in full life, yes. Spring might have been better.
Life: Deora Ar Mo Chroi - Enya
A vaguely sad and regretful song in a language I don't understand, following on directly from something not included in this telling. This will do nicely. From here onward to accuracy, aptness and beyond!
Mental Breakdown: Odyssey of the Mind - Enigma
Our journey in reverse. Eerie sounds. A message of hope.
Driving: Where is my Mind - Pixies
Sometimes I fear this is true. If driving is a metaphor for journeying it absolutely is. No regret.
Flashback: The Ballad of Melody Nelson - Placebo (Cover)
Naught but a series of vague images to me.
Getting back: Adidas - Korn
I don't know what getting back is. I don't listen to Korn either. *grooves regardless*
Wedding: Romeo and Rebecca - Blink 182
Don't listen to them either. Relics of my sisters' collections both. I tolerate them through masochism. And I don't believe in omens *g*
Birth of a Child: Computer Station - Doom (the game)
I told you, I don't believe in omens.
Death Scene: Tight Wad Hill - Green Day
Blah. Not a song of theirs I would be sad to never hear again. No idea what this song is about.
Final Battle: The Ballad of John and Yoko - The Beatles
Stubborn protest, hounded unreasonably, trying to do good. "Christ, you know it ain't easy"
Funeral Song: 雪の華 - Nakasima Mika中島美嘉
A love song can be a funeral song. Humans often entwine romance and death.
End Credits: Hard to Say - The Used
This is what I get for not cheating. *is cross* Not that I hate them. And this song is almost enjoyable (pain turns to love?).

And now you have a fairly accurate snapshot of my library. Enjoy, dammit.

Ahh, this is the music thing I was talking about the other day! Except I realized that I don't really have a significant portion of my music collection on this computer, so I have postponed doing it. I must remind myself to though! Yay for LOTR
