However, I wouldn't have played it like that XD I tend to go all out on the bosses, hitting them as hard as I can as fast as I can XDDD Also I usually spend a round healing up, so I dun risk deaths. :]

Felt to me very much like a random encounter - bosses are usually visible before the fight starts, or have a cutscene / monologue a least.

That said, his HP were just absurd for a random encounter ^^;

Makes me want to play Final Fantasy again ^^;;
