Hm. Slow slow slow the past few days, mostly editing and barely writing anything new. If I want to keep my average up I need 400 tonight. Not likely and I won't force myself to make it up all at once. Good news is I have some feel for what needs to come next to flow naturally. No estimates on when it will be finished but I expect from the way this particular story goes the first instalment will be much longer than the rest. At least at first. I think later instalments will begin expanding again further down the track.

Perhaps someday I may start a daily report of my progress in the style of matociquala . I wonder if she would mind? Perhaps I will mind if I don't come up with something original I can be happy with (theft is nine tenths of creation, mind).

Stopping at 168 new words because I must away ere break of day.

Edit: Why does that weird messed-up text thing keep happening when I put down the names of LiveJournal users? No time to puzzle over it now, I nee- Zzzzzzzzzzz...

The proper tag is <lj user="name">. Is that the way you are using it? Are you putting anything else around it?

Thank you. I think the problem is using punctuation right after. Should be fixed now (it is for me)?

I have never had trouble with punctuation right after, but it looks like it fixed it.
