Sort of a busy day last night, rushed off a finish to my assignment before handing it in. Wanted to be extra-specially thorough so I emailed it in .rtf and .pdf as well as a copy of my presentation in powerpoint format ahead of time before I delivered the hardcopy. Well, by the time I was ready to go I realised I was going to be late for my psych appointment so I called ahead to say so, and when I did arrive I asked to reschedule, so must call today and fix it up. Turned in my resume at Dymocks too, and I found a lovely used bookstore too, Paperback Palace. Had a friendly chat with the woman behind the desk (got the impression she owns it), as it turns out they have someone leaving for Victoria soon so hopefully I can have their place. Well, I expect I will be back there even if I do not get that job, they have books for sale I don't think I could get anywhere else. ^_^
As for the rest, well, lots of walking, finally started actually reading Hard Times (Thomas Gradgrind has suchcurious bizarre ideas about bringing up children) while waiting for the uni shuttle bus. I am friendly with the driver somewhat so I had a race with him to see if I could drop off my assignment and get to the campus stop before he came round again (I did, yay!) aaand well, once home a nice early night for once - 10pm - and up at 4.
Yup, and now it is time to embark once more on my own projects. Back to writing, finally. I tried transferring Sparkle to yWriter to see how it works but there was an error there - sure I know how to fix it but it will have to wait until tomorrow. I will just have to do a different story today. And catch up on my online reading. No more assignment means people will only be bugged by astronomical updates when they catch my personal fancy now (so, more than ever?) But! New projects over the summer. I need to reacquaint myself with algebra thru calculus and vector mathematics in time for Autumn semester next year if I am to pass and hopefully I can also find time to practise mandarin which I have been meaning to learn for about ever. So expect a lot of updates with me explaining those to myself.
