If it were true, then just as there are those who believe it is pointless to continue on, I can choose to believe I can always make the right choices in any given situation so my life is enjoyable. It may be pre-ordained, but what precludes me from being the one doing the ordaining?
I would also be sure to use the mega-second predictors to give myself winning lottery numbers...
