It may be that I should choose a different day to post my fiction, since on Wednesdays I am consistently unable to access the computer. Or I could just say I was aiming for Wednesdays in the Americas and pretend everything is fine.
In either case, today I am putting up the only story that was ever actually finished for that shared world project. It was written about a year later when the group was almost dead and I had hoped it would revive interest but, alas.
Unlike the other old pieces I put up, this one went through some more editing today. So my present self must bear responsibility for any flaws it still possesses. I think with time I could do this one better. It still has unrealised potential.
