Went out pill-collecting today. There were a lot of Easter eggs for sale; I was very tempted to buy a few for eating. Unfortunately I am a bit stalled on income currently, so I didn't.
I also thought I'd accidentally left a couple of prescriptions at home when they turned out to be in a different compartment of my bag. Since I am going to be out and about again in a couple of days, I decided to let them be for the moment. The only prescription I'd actually run out of was the one already being filled anyway.
On the way down there were a great many vocal birds about. For a little while I worried an over-zealous magpie might swoop me, but that did not happen. On the way back I was passed by two kids on scooters heading the other way. When they were behind me I thought I heard one of them say "Was that a girl or a guy?" which somewhat pleased me in spite of itself, as it represents the best I have yet achieved in the field of 'not being perceived as a guy by strangers, visually'.
Today I resolved to 'work harder'. Well, that's been claimed before. Almost immediately I was foiled by being unable to locate the notebook I was looking for to write in. It seems every time I do find resolution something intervenes to sap it. That happens, we keep going. I'll find it in here somewhere if I clean this place up. Anyway, feeling like I've accomplished something during the day makes it easier to sleep.
(one of the big obstacles is our internet connection - it took three refreshes of this page before it would load enough to post before declaring itself done. but that obstacle opens other paths to pursue, it just happens to be very frustrating when I want to get something out quickly)
Edit: Watched the 1989 Batman film last night. Have decided I mostly like it better than the recent Batman film series.
