Last night
soltice and I were discussing AV science fiction and trying to come up with something we would like better than what is currently available. Toward the end we were starting to despair, but we did salvage about half a movie poster.
We have a tagline: "There is nothing new under the sun"
We have a setting: Story focus should be on a free-floating world, not gravitationally bound to any star.
That can be the poster image too.
Would anyone care to jump on it? At this moment the idea of collecting a few stories based on the same prompt seems like a fun idea. Am tempted to try my hand at it, see if I can produce a couple of distinct variations on the idea. 'New', well, will have to be creative about interpreting that; Ecclesiastes had that particular set of words pretty accurate.
