[livejournal.com profile] osakadensetsu brings to attention the recent gassing of Muslim children at a Ramadan service in Dayton, Ohio.

This sure looks like a hate crime, especially following the recent distribution of an anti-Islam DVD in newspapers, so why are police dismissing the possibility when no evidence for any other motive has been made known?

We had Muslim gravestones smashed here during Ramadan and on one of the holiest days, which suggests these weren't idle scumbags, but people (I use the term with reservations) who knew exactly what they were doing- not in the same league,I know, but we all know where this tends. I have some Jewish ancestry in Riga, Latvia which I cannot trace after 1941 when the Nazis marched in.

I wish people would occasionally take a good hard look at their prejudices :o(

I heard that news too :/ its so awful and yet its being brushed over so readily.. they don't *want* to make it big and serious >:/ but it really is and should be causing more of a stir then it seems to be

omg I saw that :\

isn't it funny how acts committed by presumably white christian americans is not considered "terrorism" and always the acts of "crazies" and individuals while acts committed by non white muslims are seen as representative of all muslims or arabs and an act of "Terrorism" :\
