Scattered some some food for the crows yesterday. Not enough to keep them fed, but enough to keep them from pecking at me for another day.
That is, 51 words for my Sekrit Projekt which was again a sufficient amount to maintain pace but not enough to get ahead.
There were also 250 words transcribed for Spare Parts which finished that scene. By this point I was far too tired to continue and called it a night, although as it turns out I did not sleep especially well. And so we have a late morning. This is called a vicious cycle by some. But now I am writing earlier in the day, hypothetically, so maybe this time more will be done.
This average of 300 words/day I set myself at the beginning of the month, it has now grown to 400 words/day if I am to make my target. Which was the average I intended to strike for next month. So it does not look good but maybe I will learn something and maybe next time I will do better and maybe... there are many maybes.
After last night I am drifting upward again. Perhaps there will be sufficient energy to make an acceptable amount of progress. I still have not finished Day 15 of Discourteous Joe, but I mean to try tonight. I do not know if I will make an attempt at Day 16 yet or put it aside for now. It is an eventful day so I may need to think things through first. Or not. I suspect it will turn out simpler than I am expecting.
Transcribing Spare Parts may be done by the beginning of next week. I feel I should add something to fill its place. That may not be a good idea though. Likely the only reason I can handle three stories at once, currently, is because Spare Parts does not require any greater mental effort on my part than attempting to decipher my own handwriting. Assuming I actually am managing all three.
