I have not been posting much lately, especially not anything of significant content. This is an effect of my spending more time at the computer, more time with internet access. There is a large amount of material I read of both high and low quality and for me I often find reading, particularly in volume, deadens my ability for critical thought and response.
There is a need to spend time away from the source to consider and process it rather than moving on directly to the next. That is why I have minimised all other windows to write this post.
Where I am going with this is to make a very obvious statement: Although our access to information is far better than it was, in those place with access and provided we know how to tell good from bad, or extract good from bad, there is no benefit to this if we are unable to do anything with it.

Date: 2007-10-03 19:42 (UTC)From:That's exactly what I found too. I've been reading the Internet much too much recently, and it seems like I end up having nothing to say. Why bother? Everything has been said already :) Of course, when I take a step back and take some time to think about things, I find that I do have someting to say, after all.
