I've spent the day in Starbucks, reading through my dissertation and circling mistakes that somehow had managed to escape the conjoined forces and intellects of both my supervisors and me, despite several readings. It must be one of the laws of L-space: In any written body of work, the amount of errors and typos found is directly proportional to the amount of time passed since the completion of the work.
