Captain's Log: Stardate 2251.314

It is only a few days since I have been honoured with my own command and we have already seen combat. It appears an Orion PR, the Heartbreaker, mistook the Fresh Cat for a civilian vessel and attempted to pounce us while on patrol. Whatever the reason for their folly it must remain unknown, as the fragile vessel proved unable to withstand the Cat's interrogation.

Our scans did show the vessel to be armed with a gatling phaser, leading me to suspect the local cartel may be receiving covert support from the Hydrans. A full report has been forwarded to the clan elders.

Current Affairs?

    I don't watch those programs if I can help it but lately there was some advertising for a story about some companies that were - horror of horrors! - refusing to employ Australians locally and only hiring foreigners because they are cheaper.

    It seems to me that if a country does not want this happening it should be required that non-citizens are paid at the same rate as citizens. Then (I naively hope) the only reason foreign workers would be preferred is if they are better qualified. No need for any OMGNon-whites! panic at all.

Probably Bonsai.

2) Have you ever done something that embrassed you throughly at the time, but looking back is no big deal? Wait, who am I kidding? We all have. In that case, what was it?

I can't think of anything. There were things I did in the past I am now embarrassed to remember.

3) Fight or Flight?

Flight!

4) If you could have unlimited access to any single mode of transportation, what would it be?

Still flight.

5) Say you built a robot. What would the robot be designed to do?

Be me? Explore, perhaps. Or dance.
