[personal profile] pecunium is friended for obvious reasons.

Also subscribed to the Astronomy Picture of the Day and - why not? - Snopes feeds while I was at it. Today's picture is of a comet, those of you in the northern hemisphere still might see it with binoculars if you follow the instructions.

I am officially back at work. Some mulling over Sparkle today, considering cutting Antigone's story altogether. It was the newest addition to the tale and possibly is not contributing anything but unrealism, however clever I may have felt sliding the panes around. For the other, which I do not care to give an official title to, I started by going over where I left off and cleaning up my mistakes and now it has grown from 376 to 604 words. Some of that is from the clean-up but I am still left with about two hundred new words and since my goal right now is one hundred per day I'd say that is pretty good. Let's see if I can do it again tomorrow.

For the past couple of months I have not been doing much writing at all. Not stories, nor any kind of article which might be called serious (excepting of course my assignment), so I feel rather out of practice. I need to get back into the habit of taking some time to think carefully and quietly and write about topics on my mind if I am to refine my skills and perhaps, someday, approach those I admire. Mere length is not a virtue in itself, I know, but at the moment I could not write at length on any topic even if I wished to, rather than the teensy outbursts I have been posting lately.

But then again, who on the internet wants to read a three page essay anyhow?

My mind is starting to wander again and that is usually a sign to stop, so goodnight all.
