Kari fluttered lower, for a closer look. "What is it?" she asked.

"I think it's a flower."

"It doesn't look like any flower I've ever seen."

"What else could it be?" It was flower shaped, nestled in the hollow of a tree branch. But it looked as though it was made from glass, or something like it. Amille stretched out for it with one hand.

"Don't touch it! It might be dangerous."

"It might not." Amille was reaching again, clearly annoyed at being interrupted for such a trivial concern. "We should show it to someone. Maybe it is new."
