Today's Words

How did I do? 95 new words, that's how. Better than yesterday but not what I was hoping for. New guesstimate rate: 475 words per day.

I don't mean to keep tracking that number (but tracking is a difficult habit for me to kick!), it's just an excuse for me to write a little about the word guesstimate. I know there are those who hate the words. I kind of like it. Rolls easily off the tongue, it does. And at least for me it serves the purpose of indicating that what I say is fimer than a completely wild guess, but not any kind of serious estimate I should be held to.

Because I felt like it, that's why!

Television Stuff

My sister bought a dvd of The Goodies the other day, yay! It has been faaar to long since we watched that show. And Stargate is finally showing again, season nine, I think, where Ben Browder joins the show. I hope he makes up for the absence of Richard Dean Anderson. And for Nine only showing Farscape and Enterprise and Bullshit! for a couple of weeks at most and getting my hopes up before dashing them to the ground. Bitch bitch bitch, yes.

Ok, I am informed The Goodies is actually borrowed from a friend, not ours. So I need to watch it soon
