Wind whips my hair into my eyes, pushing me firmly onward, tugging at my clothes. I go where it leads me, first clutching my arms to my sides for warmth, then free as I am pushed faster and faster forward until one final gust came blowing through and I give in, eagerly falling to earth.
I roll with the wind awhile, enjoying the feel of it blowing me, of good earth under me and thick, long grass all around me. When I have had enough I sit up, feeling the grass sway and tickle my chin. Thank the wind for that. Wind and grass, wind and grass all around, excepting some trees over there and a bit of a hill that way. Such a pleasant place, if a little bare. For now I shall enjoy the feel of fresh air on my cheeks, but this is not the place to end my peripatetic ways.
Much later, when I have had my fill, I dust myself off and keep walking.
