I might have saved many pages of webpaper by waiting and putting everything into this post.

My mother is home now. As far as I can tell she will be fine, just some soreness and a week or two recovering. Very, very happy about that.

Borders interview went okay. There were nearly as many jobs going as there were interviewees so I remain cautiously optimistic. Also, (funny story, true story) one of the interviewees went to the same primary school as I did, in my sister's grade, and lives just a block away.

The place tried to tempt me into buying things, many things, but they would not give me a job on the spot so I say - NO! There was, though, the new Lemony Snicket book out today. I'm sure my sister (no, not that one) will enjoy it when she finally gets a copy. And Ken Macleod has written a book called Learning the World. Heard of it before but now I have read the cover, depending how it was done maybe I have something to cross off my 'to write' list.

Good.
