(Yes, that's unusual enough to get an entry)
Anyway, after the necessary business was out of the way I took myself shopping. On the way in I was approached by an indian man who presented me with two things: the very first 'Left Behind' book I ever saw (one of a stack he carried) and a sign he held saying he was indian and had very poor english, but that I was asked to take a book and leave some change for a good christian cause. With some effort I managed to communicate that I have no interest in contributing to such a cause and go on my way.
Nothing really exciting after that, I bought some jumpers, t-shirts and a pair of pjs before going to see Pirates of the Caribbean (must I subtitle it? Oh, very well then): Dead Man's Chest. Or Pirates of the Caribbean: Special Reunion Edition. It did feel a bit incomplete and not only because it was the first of a two-parter. Indeed, the movie seemed to be a bit rushed with not enough development of the plot. Lots of cool moments though; it lacked the magic of the first one but it was still worth seeing, and I look forward to the next one. Kind of disappointing they replaced Jack Sparrow with some other character by the same name. And speaking of Captain Jacks, I'm looking forward to the return of the very sexual Captain Jack Harkness, too bad he won't be back until next year. I don't want to wait but at least, apparently, he is getting a spinoff series too - Torchwood.
