...I know I do a LOT of that; much of my posting is "if I think it ocer I just will not write it so don't plan or worry over what you say to much". And I definitely 'quote' from plays, films, movies.. and assume that people understand it, and that with that understanding, they get the allusions, implied meanings... everything.
Paintings. Sssssssss. I HATE trying to say 'i like/do not like'. My sister asks me if I like her picuture. I look, am not sure, want to BE sure - am not allowe do by her she wishes praise, but she also wishes it sound genuine, which I cannot do - so I will say "I like...t he colours/that bit/how you put this together" but...
